HOMESCHOOL MINISTRY

Our homeschool ministry has operated under the name, Covenant Community School (CCS), since 1985. The ministry provides a legal umbrella, recognized by the state board of education, for students grades K-12. Seeking to provide academic and spiritual support, CCS enrollment is open to families belonging to a Bible-based, Christian church. We have a current enrollment of over 40 families and 100 students.

Support includes training seminars, record keeping, college-ready transcripts and optional participation in high school “credit” courses, clubs, interest-related classes, field trips and standardized testing. CCS holds membership in the Maryland Association of Christian Home Educators (MACHE) and is an affiliate member of the Christian Home Educators Network (CHEN).
